Surreal World of Schiaparelli Fall Haute Couture Paris 2022

Shocking! The Surreal World of Elsa Schiaparelli!

If you too are a fashion lover like us, you won't be any less excited. Haute Couture Fall 2022 is here live from Paris, the fashion capital.

What is Haute Couture?

The term Haute in French means 'high' and Couture means 'dress-making'. Haute Couture refers to high-end fashion that takes days to create and is for an exclusive set of clientele.

The law protects famous design houses like Chanel, Givenchy, Dior, etc, as well as the designers who only work for Haute Couture like Schiaparelli and Jean Paul Gaultier.

You are even more excited when you look at the schedule and the first designer to present their collection is the founding fashion house- SCHIAPARELLI!

Schiaparelli doesn't need any introduction, it's the best of the best indeed. They have always left us amazed and stunned with their designs. Be it their dresses or accessories, it always has an extra terrestrial element to present on the fashion runway.

The Haute Couture Fall Collection 2022 named THE NEW COUTURE under the supervision of the brilliant Daniel Roseberry, the creative director at Schiaparelli was no different. From super long necklaces as dresses to mono bras, from oversized earrings as tops to bird decors.

“When the exhibit was originally conceived, I think the danger is that it would have felt too scholarly in a way. I think that the legacy of Elsa, the connection with today and everything, has been incredibly brought to life, so I’m excited,” the designer said.

Jewelry or gown? This incredible shimmery piece in silver was one of the most stunning looks from the collection. Constructed metal flowers and strings of jewels formed the runway look.

What's so special about the look? Just take a closer look at the corseted midriff. It's freshwater pearls! Such a genius move by the master.

Another spectacular look had a complete dress created out of 60500 freshwater pearls!

The sleek tailored black mini dress with power shoulders and an eye-catching cape sleeve!

The bejeweled sleeve had the iconic signature Schiaparelli crusted work all over it. Don't miss those beautiful pair of earrings.

Already in love with the color? A beautiful vibrant blue-colored pantsuit with a plunging neckline that goes up to the waist and a conical bra.

Can you spot the little birdie? Not only the dove gets our attention, but the complexities and interpretation of the dress too!

While one side of the ensemble had volume, the other side had a fitted look and of course, the freshwater pearls in the midriff and gigot sleeve are unmissable.

One of the most modest looks from the collection, but still so incredibly remarkable! The plush velvet off-shoulder mini with a 3D flower in satin. Chic and refined! Plus, you can't miss the beautiful choker necklace.

Not only did the dresses catch our attention but so did the accessories. The supersized wide-brimmed hat had our eyes and heart!

Certainly Met Gala worthy! Kudos to the mastermind trick to use extended pendant earrings as the top. This can be created only at Schiaparelli!

PS- This will soon be seen at a Red Carpet event (prediction).

Oh my my! Here comes the signature Schiaparelli's teary-eyed earrings and it's extraordinary!

Halter neck gown in a sheer fabric is certainly a head-turner.

This was the most interesting runway look of all, with wreaths of colorful artificial blooms and leather molded into petals!

This runway was indeed The Surreal World of Elsa Schiaparelli, but Daniel Roseberry left his marks in the history of fashion world as he presented fashion in a modern and imaginative way. The deep red corseted design with a mono bra and velvet pencil skirt shows how to make a fashion statement!
