Let's Romance with Michael Kors Spring 22 Runway Show

Michael Kors, the global luxury fashion house announced the launch of its Spring-Summer 2022 collection. Modern Urban Romance was the theme of the collection and had supermodel Kendall Jenner as the face of the campaign. Kors presented an array of timeless, carefree, and elegant styles. The collection consisted of streamlined silhouettes, feminine contours, lace and shimmer fabrics, cut-out details, and a color palette ranging from ethereal whites to classic blacks with few instances of blues, pinks, and nudes.

The SS 22 collection of Michael Kors mostly comprised of everyday wearable dresses and some statement looks like the checkered coordinated bodysuit or the conical bra paired with a leather skirt. Names like Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Precious Lee, Vittoria Ceretti, Cara Taylor, Adut Akech, Selena Forrest, and Irina Shayk walked the sunlit runway with a greenery-filled background.

Trends that dominated the entire collection were cut-outs, coordinates, laceworks, sequins, and shimmers. Belted look marked an integral part of the Spring-Summer collection. It varied from pencil skirts to mini skirts, from cropped pantsuits to super-short trousers. It delivered a wide spectrum of playful dresses, evening gowns, work outfits, and modest looks.

Highlights of the collection were white lace shorts with embroidered cape style shirt, a beige-colored bodysuit with an oversized off-shoulder sweater, a printed black and white dress with cutouts at the waist, a silver sequined midi dress with straps, a tailored pantsuit with an embellished bandeau and a strappy halter neck black shimmery gown with cutouts.
